Description

At the end of December, like many people, I was thinking about what I wanted 2025 to look like. I hoped to paint outside more often. To kick things off, I decided to commit to painting outside every day in January. This seemed like a good idea when the air temp was 45 degrees and there was no wind! As soon as January rolled around, Rhode Island got very cold and very windy! This painting, Alan Harbor, is the first painting in the January series.  The wind howled and the temperature plummeted. The easel blew over at one point that day. Something that would be repeated throughout the month!
